Manor Farm Residential Home

Manor Farm Residential Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 20 people, including those living with dementia. The CQC found the service required improvement, prompted by concerns over staffing, dignity, medicines management and culture. Inspectors identified staffing levels that did not always meet people's needs, gaps in medicines documentation, an outdated fire risk assessment, and weak governance, alongside a poor staff culture with reports of previous bullying.

Care plans were detailed and people were involved in reviewing them, with positive feedback on food and health professionals' input. A newly appointed manager had begun making improvements, with staff and relatives reporting rising morale, though these changes still needed to become fully embedded.
