Mandalay

Mandalay is a detached house in central Witham providing accommodation for up to six people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, four people were living at the service. Staff support residents in a personalised manner, adapting their approach to meet each individual's needs and help them remain safe. The provider ensures consistent staffing by using the same temporary staff when usual team members are unavailable. This continuity has allowed new staff to develop strong relationships with residents, which has helped minimise distress during the COVID-19 pandemic.
