Malvern House

Malvern House accommodates up to 22 older people and provides nursing and personal care. At inspection, 19 people were living at the service. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout, with procedures in place to reduce infection control risks. Housekeeping staff increased cleaning of communal areas during their shifts, and staff cleaned high-touch surfaces such as door handles following use. While the home had a cleaning schedule in place, it did not formally document the additional cleaning carried out by staff when people moved around the home, though the registered manager confirmed these practices were being followed.
