Madelayne Court

Madelayne Court is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 112 people aged 65 and over, and was supporting 108 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it met expectations across safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness and leadership.

Most people and relatives spoke positively about their care, though inspectors found some care felt more task focused than person-centred, with limited social interaction for people, particularly those staying in their rooms. Some people reported delays in call bells being answered during busy periods, and staff had little time for meaningful conversation.
