Lyndale

Lyndale is a residential care home providing care and support for up to nine people with mental health needs. Staff know residents well and have thoroughly assessed any risks to their wellbeing and safety. The home maintains a relaxed, calm and friendly atmosphere and is clean, tidy and well maintained, with all necessary utility and building checks completed. A resident reported being happy at Lyndale and felt unrestricted in their daily life.

Staff are safely recruited and trained with the skills necessary to provide care. The team feels supported and there are enough staff on duty to meet residents' needs. People have adequate food and drink and are involved in creating shopping lists for their meals. Improvements made following the previous inspection have been sustained and embedded throughout the service.
