Lukestone Dementia Nursing Home

Lukestone provides personal and nursing care for up to 43 people living with dementia across three floors in a residential area of Maidstone. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity.

However, inspectors identified significant safety concerns. Risk assessments were not consistently in place to guide staff in keeping people safe. Medicines management was problematic, with one person failing to receive their prescribed medicine for two weeks. Incidents were not always effectively reviewed to prevent them from happening again.
