Poplars Care Centre

Poplars Care Centre provides personal care, accommodation and nursing support for up to 71 people, most of whom live with dementia. It is also registered to support people with learning disabilities and autistic people. The CQC rated the service good overall, with the well-led rating improving from requires improvement to good.

Inspectors found good oversight of quality, with systems in place to audit records and staff practice, and action taken promptly when shortfalls were identified. Staff were well motivated under a competent registered manager, and people and their relatives said they felt safe, cared for and listened to.
