Longmead House

Longmead House accommodates up to 23 people across three floors, accessible via stairs or lift. The service provides personal care and support for older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 15 people were using the service.

However, risk assessments and support plans were not always in place to help staff deliver safe care. Some risks had not been identified, managed and mitigated. Inspectors witnessed unsafe moving and handling practices that put a person at risk of avoidable harm. Additionally, people did not always receive their medicines safely and as prescribed.
