Little Haven

Little Haven is a residential home providing personal and nursing care to 40 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 43 residents. The home is spread across three floors with communal areas on the ground level. Staff demonstrate strong safeguarding practices and understand how to protect people from harm and abuse. People's health and care risks are properly identified and managed, with sufficient staffing to meet residents' needs promptly. Recruitment processes ensure staff are suitable for their roles, and medicines are managed safely to ensure people receive their prescribed medications correctly.

The home prioritises infection control through available personal protective equipment and supports residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. People are offered a choice of food and drinks regularly throughout the day. Staff receive appropriate support and training to develop the skills needed for their roles, and healthcare professionals are involved to provide additional guidance when required for residents' wellbeing.
