Little Haven

Little Haven is a care home with nursing for up to 43 people, most of whom need support with health conditions and regaining independence. The CQC found staff caring and person centred, with people and relatives describing feeling safe, well supported and treated with respect. Medicines were managed safely, and management was seen as approachable and responsive.

Inspectors found some care plans and risk assessments contained conflicting information, and monitoring measures were not always followed consistently. There was also mixed feedback about staffing levels at busy times, and governance systems needed to be used more effectively to identify shortfalls. The provider was taking action to address these issues.
