Lime Tree House

Lime Tree House provides nursing care and accommodation for ten people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. During the inspection, nine residents were living at the home. Staff demonstrated understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities and protected people from harm. The home maintained effective infection control procedures and managed risks appropriately while supporting residents to lead full lives. People received safe support with medicines, and staff ensured meals met individual preferences and dietary needs with drinks available throughout the day.

Where residents were unable to make specific decisions about their care independently, the home undertook assessments to determine what support they required. This approach ensured people had maximum choice and control of their lives and received support in the least restrictive way possible. Recruitment checks were completed for all new staff members, and residents and their representatives were actively involved in planning care to receive support in their preferred way.
