Inspectors found people felt safe, understood their care plans, and had risks well managed, though some care records needed minor updates. Staff were kind and respectful, medicines were managed safely, and the home was clean. Feedback on staffing levels was mixed, but overall the service was well led and responsive to people's needs.

Hutton Village is a 'care home.' People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as a single package under one contractual agreement. CQC regulates both the premises and the care provided and both were looked at during this inspection. Hutton Village provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 40 older people including those living with dementia. Accommodation is located on two floors. There were a total of 39 people living at the service at the time of our inspection.
