Lawnfield House

Lawnfield House is a purpose-built residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. The home operates across four floors with separate facilities and communal spaces on each, currently supporting 37 of its 41 residents.

The home has implemented comprehensive infection control measures including hand sanitisation stations, temperature checks, and PPE requirements for all staff and visitors. Residents were enabled to maintain contact with family and friends through video calls on laptops and tablets, while visitors were required to provide negative COVID-19 lateral flow tests before entering. The home also installed a visiting pod in the garden with separate entrances and a screen to facilitate safe visits when needed. All staff underwent twice-weekly lateral flow testing with immediate isolation protocols for positive results.
