Lavender Lodge

Lavender Lodge provides accommodation and personal care to up to 20 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, the service was at full capacity with 20 residents.

There were significant concerns around medicines management. Prescribed medicines had not always been stored within recommended temperature limits, either in the refrigerator or medicines trolley, creating potential risks to residents. Risks to people were not always safely managed to prevent harm.

Care delivery was task-based rather than personalised to individual needs. Care plans did not consistently reflect people's changing needs, and the premises presented additional concerns that required attention.
