About Langley Lodge Residential Home
Langley Lodge Residential Home is a residential care home in Cambridgeshire. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.
Langley Lodge accommodates up to 20 people in individual or double bedrooms across a two-storey building with a stair lift for accessibility. At inspection, 20 people were using the service.
Staff took action to keep people safe, though some measures to restrict movement were not always applied in the least restrictive way. This meant people did not always have maximum choice and control of their lives, and the service's policies and systems did not fully support least restrictive practice. The registered manager took immediate action to make necessary improvements.
Fire policies and risk assessments had not considered all necessary information to ensure risks to people's safety were reduced as much as possible in the event of a fire.
