Lyncroft Care Home

Lyncroft Care Home is a two-storey residential care home supporting up to 53 people, including younger adults and older people with dementia. At inspection, 47 people were using the service. The home provides access to communal areas, accessible gardens and outside facilities. Staff demonstrate strong safeguarding awareness and know how to report concerns to the registered manager or local safeguarding authority. All residents and relatives spoken with felt people were kept safe, with risks identified and managed effectively.

The service maintains safe medicine management with trained and competent staff administering medications as prescribed. The home has recruited sufficient suitably skilled staff and follows robust infection prevention and control practices. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. The service demonstrates a commitment to learning from incidents and continuously improving practice.
