Lanercost House

Lanercost House provides personal and nursing care for up to 82 people, currently supporting 67 residents. The service cares for people with physical and mental health conditions, including dementia. Inspectors found that people were safe, with robust monitoring and quality assurance checks in place across care provision, premises and equipment. Staff were safely recruited and sufficient in number.

Medicines management was effective, though inspectors made recommendations to further enhance this practice. People were supported to have maximum choice and control over their care and support.
