Carlisle Dementia Centre – Parkfield provides personal care and nursing for up to 44 people, including those living with dementia or mental health conditions. At inspection, 28 people were resident at the service. Staff demonstrate thoughtful and caring approaches, with positive interactions observed between residents and the team. Care plans fully reflect each person's individual needs and health conditions, and residents and their relatives report being involved in planning care and encouraged to provide feedback. The service maintains safe medicine management and good infection control procedures, with the premises appearing light, welcoming, and clean. There are sufficient safely recruited staff to meet people's needs, and staff feel supported with improved morale. The provider follows current guidelines to support safe visiting arrangements.
