Laburnum Lodge

Laburnum Lodge provides personal care to older and younger adults, with capacity for up to 22 residents, many over 65 years old and some living with dementia. The home is accommodated across two floors of an adapted building, accessible by stairs or stair lift. Staff have developed individualised care plans that contain detailed information to guide support for people's known risks and wellbeing. Residents and relatives are involved in decisions about their care, and communication between staff and families is good. Relatives report knowing how to raise concerns and feeling confident they will be listened to.

The provider and registered manager have introduced new policies, procedures, and audit systems to improve monitoring of the service. The home has a formal feedback mechanism, allowing people and staff to complete surveys about their experience.
