Knowle Gate Care Home

This care home provides personal and nursing care to up to 60 residents, including younger people, those aged 65 and over, people with mental health conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and some with dementia. At the time of inspection, 38 people lived at the purpose-built home.

The home had implemented a visitor code of conduct outlining safe practice requirements during the pandemic. A mobile Perspex screen was used during visits to maintain social distancing, which had reduced residents' anxiety levels by allowing them to see and speak clearly with their relatives.
