About Kingly Terrace

Kingly Terrace is a residential care home in North Northamptonshire, providing support for people with acquired brain injuries and neurological disabilities. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

Kingly Terrace provides residential care and accommodation for up to eight people with acquired brain injuries and neurological disabilities. The service had implemented robust infection control measures including a visitor booking system with rapid testing, vaccination checks and temperature monitoring. Staff used isolation and zoning protocols to manage infection spread, with designated staff allocated to specific areas if cases were identified.

Enhanced cleaning schedules were in place with plans to increase sanitisation of high-touch areas like door handles and handrails to at least twice daily. Personal protective equipment was readily available throughout the service at designated stations, with used PPE disposed of safely in clinical bins.
