Rushwell House

Rushwell House provides accommodation and personal care for up to eight people with learning disabilities and autism. At the time of inspection, seven people were living at the service. The home had implemented robust infection control measures to keep residents, staff and visitors safe. These included visitor screening with rapid flow device testing, vaccination checks, temperature monitoring and a sign-in process. Hand hygiene stations with sanitiser were available throughout the home, and staff received dedicated training on infection control procedures and COVID-19 safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment. The service had sufficient supplies of PPE available and maintained a routine testing programme for all residents and staff, with swift action taken in response to any positive results.
