Staffing levels were sufficient to meet care needs, with one staff member noting, "We manage, the manager has done a great job to make sure we spend time with residents." A relative expressed confidence in the care provided, saying, "It is a small home and I feel confident the staff look after [relative] and keep them safe."

Staff completed mandatory safeguarding training and understood processes to keep people safe. Risks were assessed and carefully monitored. Medicines were administered safely. The manager maintained auditing systems to oversee the service and drive improvements, with surveys introduced for staff, people, and relatives to share their views. The manager and provider acted on suggestions and ideas to ensure the service continued to improve.
