Kenilworth Grange Care Home

Kenilworth Grange Care Home provides nursing and personal care to younger and older people across three floors, including those with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or dementia. The home is registered for 60 people and participates in the Discharge to Assess scheme, which supports people transitioning from hospital to community-based rehabilitation before their long-term care needs are assessed. At inspection, 59 people were living at the home, with 16 participating in the scheme.

The home maintains sufficient staff with appropriate skills and knowledge to deliver safe, effective care. Staff demonstrate clear understanding of risk management plans and know how to recognise abuse while protecting people from harm, neglect and discrimination. An open culture encourages learning from mistakes and incidents. Before admission, staff assess people's care needs, risks and preferences to ensure these can be met, and staff receive training and support to undertake their work effectively.
