About Kenilworth Grange Care Home

Kenilworth Grange Care Home is a nursing home in Warwickshire, supporting younger and older adults with a range of needs including physical disabilities, mental health conditions and dementia. Full details from the latest CQC inspection are set out below.

Kenilworth Grange Care Home in Warwickshire provides nursing and personal care for up to 60 people, including short-term beds for those recently discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess scheme. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found care plans were detailed, medicines and risks were managed safely, and leadership was visible and supportive despite recent management changes.

However, some interactions were found to be task focused, with people and relatives saying they did not always feel listened to or acknowledged during day to day care. Gaps in monitoring meant some concerns were not recorded, limiting the provider's oversight. As a result, the Caring key question was rated Requires Improvement, while Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-led were rated Good.
