About Kathryn's House
Kathryn's House is a residential care home for up to 29 people accommodated across three floors. At inspection, 26 residents were living there. The service demonstrated strong infection control practices, with regular audits conducted by the registered and deputy managers, including measures specific to COVID-19. Staff received consistent infection control training covering safe use and disposal of personal protective equipment, which was regularly updated and discussed during team meetings and daily handovers. Staff had access to adequate PPE and were observed using it appropriately.
