Albury Care Home provides residential accommodation and personal care for up to 33 older people, some with dementia and physical health support needs. At inspection, 26 people were using the service. Staff demonstrated knowledge of individual residents, their risks and capabilities, and provided safe, empowering care supported by clear care plans.

The home had robust systems for medicine management and infection prevention and control.

The provider prioritised learning from incidents and feedback from residents, families and staff, implementing improvements based on these lessons. Safe recruitment practices ensured adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs promptly. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, applying least restrictive practices in residents' best interests.

The home's policies and systems reinforced this person-centred approach throughout.
