About James Court Residential Care Home

James Court Residential Care Home is a residential care home in Staffordshire, providing accommodation and personal care for people with learning disabilities. The CQC's findings on its most recent inspection are set out below.

The service provides accommodation and personal care support for up to 12 people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, nine people were using the service with a registered manager in post. The previous inspection in February 2017 had identified that improvements were needed in leadership and management, with the provider in breach of six Regulations.

Following an action plan submitted in May 2017, this unannounced inspection found that improvements had been made. However, further work was still required to ensure consistent leadership. Some people's care records needed to be reviewed and updated to ensure they remained current and accurately reflected individual needs.
