Jaden House

Jaden House accommodates up to 5 people transitioning into more independent living, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with 5 residents. However, inspectors found significant concerns regarding choice and independence. People were required to take medication in the office rather than locations of their choosing, even those assessed as capable of self-administering. Residents lacked access to their own front door keys and could not access the home independently. A policy restricted access to communal areas after 11pm. Care was not consistently person-centred, and the service's policies and systems did not support practices that maximized choice and control or promoted the least restrictive approach to support.
