About Ivydene

Ivydene is a residential care home in Southampton providing accommodation and support for people with learning disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent inspection findings are set out below.

Ivydene accommodates up to eight people with learning disabilities across two connected floors. At the time of inspection, six people were living at the service. The building features bedrooms and bathrooms on both levels, with a passenger lift and stairs connecting the floors.

The ground floor includes communal spaces for residents to use.

The service demonstrates good infection prevention practices. Visitors receive an infection prevention and control pack upon arrival containing personal protective equipment and a dedicated pen, reducing the risk of cross-contamination through shared equipment.
