Insight Walderslade

The home provides care and support for up to six people with learning disabilities and/or autism, some of whom are at higher risk of presenting challenging behaviours. The accommodation is split over two floors with bedrooms on both levels. Staff have the skills and training to support people to participate as equals in their community, living within an ordinary home environment.

Restrictions imposed on people are only considered after their ability to make individual decisions has been assessed as required under the Mental Capacity Act. The service ensures that people's rights are protected through proper application of safeguarding procedures and mental capacity assessments.
