Hurstwood View

Hurstwood View provides residential and nursing care for up to 55 older people across two floors. The ground floor offers nursing care while the upper floor supports people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, all 55 beds were occupied.

Residents and relatives praised the quality of care, with people describing themselves as safe and well-supported. One resident said, "Couldn't be cared for better anywhere, excellent," while another noted feeling independent because staff support them so well. Staff receive training in safeguarding and know how to identify and report signs of abuse. The home maintains sufficient staffing levels with robust recruitment procedures, and has systems in place including health assessments and care plans to monitor safety and promote residents' wellbeing.
