Hurstway Care Home is a residential care home providing support to 39 older people, some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it had resolved previous concerns about management and was no longer in breach of regulations. Inspectors noted minor environmental issues, which the provider addressed promptly, along with a temporary problem with excessive noise at mealtimes that was quickly corrected.

People were supported by kind, attentive staff who knew them well and respected their individuality. Care was person-centred, with people involved in planning their care and encouraged to stay independent. Staffing levels were adequate, medicines were managed safely, and people felt confident raising concerns, which the management team responded to promptly.
