Humberston

Heathcotes Humberston is a residential home providing personal care and support to younger adults with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorders. The service accommodates up to eight people in one adapted building across two floors, and had seven residents at the time of inspection. The home provides planned, person-centred support designed to enable residents to live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence.

People living at the service were safe. The provider had safeguarding policies in place, and staff had completed safeguarding training and could identify and report concerns appropriately. All staff were recruited safely with appropriate checks completed before working with vulnerable people, and received induction, training and shadowing prior to starting. Medicines were managed and administered safely.
