House of Light

House of Light provides accommodation and personal care for up to six people with learning disabilities. Residents and relatives praised the care provided and the service's leadership, with one person stating "The staff are very nice and they listen. I'm safe." Staff communicated with people in ways that met their individual needs and supported them with medicines to promote independence and health outcomes. People were encouraged to personalise their rooms and felt listened to and involved in the service.

Care planning was person-centred and demonstrated resident involvement, with activities tailored to individual preferences. Staff understood their responsibilities for keeping people safe, and residents confirmed they felt safe at the home. Overall, the service prioritised individual needs and maintained strong relationships between staff, residents, and their families.
