About Cranmer Scheme

Cranmer Scheme is a residential care home in Leeds providing support for people with learning disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings on the home are set out below.

Cranmer Scheme accommodates up to 16 people with learning disabilities across two buildings, each housing 8 residents. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity.

The home had made thoughtful adaptations to facilitate safe visiting. A sheltered rapid testing area was available outside the building, and a visiting room with a substantial screen had been created for regular use. People were actively supported to maintain contact with their relatives through various methods, including by car.

Staff demonstrated good practice in supporting residents' connections with loved ones and maintained appropriate health and safety measures while enabling meaningful visits.
