Home Close provides accommodation for up to 72 older people, some living with dementia, with 50 residents currently at the service. During inspection, essential visits were being carefully managed, including temperature checks, COVID-19 testing, health questionnaires and provision of personal protective equipment for all visitors. The home was implementing plans to reintroduce visits by appointment only, with allocated time slots to minimise infection transmission risks and allow for thorough cleaning of the visiting area between appointments.
