Holmwood Nursing Home

Holmwood Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 41 people aged 65 and over. At inspection, 25 people were using the service.

The home has implemented robust processes for facilitating visits for people receiving end of life care. This includes alternative entry points to limit access to the wider home, lateral flow tests, temperature checks and provision of personal protective equipment. Each person has an individual visiting risk assessment and plan which assesses the most appropriate way for them to communicate with relatives, including supported window visits, phone and video calls.
