Residents and families described the home as a "real home" where people receive good support. Staff respond quickly to call bells, and there are sufficient staff members to provide caring, person-centred support. The service maintains audits to review care quality, with the provider using these findings to drive continuous improvement.

The management team leads the service responsively and acts quickly on any concerns identified. Staff support residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives while ensuring restrictions are kept to a minimum. However, staff recruitment practices were not always aligned with current legislation. The registered manager and business director took immediate steps to address this issue when discussed during the inspection.
