The CQC rated it Requires Improvement overall, finding weak governance, inconsistent risk management and inaccurate care records. Inspectors identified breaches relating to consent, safeguarding and good governance, and made safeguarding referrals to the local authority.

Feedback from residents was mixed: many found staff kind, but others described long waits, faulty call bells and little involvement in their own care plans. Leadership was knowledgeable but not always visible, and staff did not always feel confident raising concerns. The provider has begun making improvements following the assessment.
