Hollymead House provides residential care for up to 34 older people, with 32 residents living there at the time of inspection. The home has implemented a booking system that staggers relative visits to allow for cleaning and ventilation, with a dedicated separate room featuring external access where visitors can meet residents. Personal protective equipment is available for visitors when needed, and visits are facilitated throughout the day at times convenient for residents and their families. Staff demonstrate awareness of how the pandemic has affected residents' wellbeing and have adapted their activity programmes accordingly to support people during this period.
