Risks were not consistently identified, care plans lacked accurate information, medicines were not always managed safely, and audits such as care plan checks were not taking place.

Despite this, inspectors found a warm, homely atmosphere with a caring, consistent staff team. People and relatives spoke highly of staff and the approachable manager, and a wide range of meaningful activities supported wellbeing. Both the manager and provider were responsive to feedback and had begun addressing the shortfalls identified.
