At the time of the CQC's assessment 42 people were living there. The home's rating has improved from requires improvement to good, with inspectors finding it was no longer in breach of any regulations.

Inspectors found staff understood safeguarding well and reported concerns promptly, with personalised, regularly reviewed care plans. People and relatives spoke positively, describing kind and attentive staff and enjoyable, unrushed mealtimes. There was no registered manager in post, but the deputy manager provided visible, effective leadership and had introduced new systems to strengthen oversight.
