Highview House

Highview House is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 8 autistic people and people with learning disabilities with a forensic history. At inspection, the service was at full capacity with 8 residents. Staff prioritise avoiding restraint and work to maximise residents' choice, control and independence. While the service had not consistently recorded reasons for blanket restrictions, the provider was taking steps to address this gap. Staff demonstrate good understanding of safeguarding and abuse prevention, working collaboratively with external agencies to protect residents. The home maintains a transparent and inclusive culture, with staff ensuring risks of isolation are minimised through respectful support practices.
