Broom Lodge provides personal care for up to six people with learning disabilities or autistic people. At the time of inspection, five people were living at the service. Staff support residents to maintain relationships with family and friends, and people have access to activities both within the home and in the local community.

Residents are encouraged to pursue their interests, with staff helping them attend appointments and social events. The home promotes independence by supporting people to develop skills and make choices about their daily lives, from meal planning to how they spend their time.
