Highgrove provides personal care for up to 67 older people, some with dementia. At inspection, 37 people were using the service. The premises were clean and well-maintained, with enhanced cleaning protocols implemented since the pandemic began.

Staff received training on proper use and disposal of personal protective equipment, with regular checks ensuring compliance. The service maintained adequate PPE stocks and stored them correctly.

The home conducted regular testing for people and staff in line with government guidance. Both residents and staff received support to self-isolate when appropriate, with the registered manager monitoring test results to track staff returns to work.
