Highfield

This care home provides personal care to up to 18 people, including those with learning disabilities and autism, across three individual bungalows. At inspection, 17 people were using the service. Staff identified people's aspirations and goals, focusing on their strengths and promoting independence through consistent approaches to daily living skills. People were supported to access health and social care in the community and had maximum choice and control over their lives, supported in the least restrictive way possible. While staff understood risks to people's health and safety with risk assessments in place, some assessments lacked sufficient guidance to ensure people were as safe as possible.
