Chipstead Lake - Care Home Physical Disabilities

Chipstead Lake Physical Disabilities provides accommodation and personal care for up to 24 younger adults and older people with physical adaptive needs. At inspection, 23 people were living there, each with their own room and private bathroom, with two residents having self-contained flats. The service had implemented strong infection control measures, including a visitor pod with floor-to-ceiling screens in the conservatory to enable safe visiting without people entering the main home. New residents underwent a 14-day isolation period with negative Covid-19 tests, supported by one-to-one care where needed. The home maintained up-to-date infection control policies specific to Covid-19 and outbreaks, with regular cleaning schedules monitored by the infection control lead and audits conducted by the registered manager to ensure actions were completed.
