Highfield House

Highfield House provides personal care for up to seven people with learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge. The home was at full capacity during inspection. Staff maintained safe practices and followed proper recruitment procedures to ensure adequate support. People received their medicines as prescribed, and the provider implemented appropriate infection control measures with access to personal protective equipment available.

Staff demonstrated the skills and knowledge needed to support residents effectively. People were encouraged to make choices and maintain independence, with staff using the least restrictive approaches possible. Nutritional needs were well met, with residents receiving sufficient food and drink to maintain a healthy diet.
