Higher Cockham Farm

Higher Cockham Farm accommodates up to six people with mental ill health in a rural setting, offering nursing care in six single bedrooms with shared living and dining spaces. At the time of inspection, four people were resident at the home.

Residents reported feeling comfortable and safe in their accommodation. The registered manager and staff understood their safeguarding responsibilities and how to report concerns, incidents or allegations of abuse. The home maintained sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs and ensure their safety. The provider implemented effective recruitment procedures to verify that prospective staff were suitable to work with the service.
