About Angel Mount Care Home

Angel Mount Care Home is a nursing home in Lancashire, providing care for people with physical, mental health and sensory needs, including those living with dementia. The findings from the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Angel Mount Care Home provides personal and nursing care to people with physical, mental health and sensory needs, including those living with dementia. Inspectors found the service overall Good, with a safe environment, effective safeguarding and staff who had completed relevant training. Some record-keeping around incidents, medication and staff recruitment needed strengthening.

People and relatives described staff as kind and caring, with person-centred touches such as personalised murals in bedrooms and a mix of group and one-to-one activities respecting individual choice. Relatives were generally involved in care planning, though some were unaware of meetings or feedback forms, and a few raised concerns about staff communication.
