Highcliffe Care Centre

Highcliffe Care Centre provides accommodation and personal care for up to 60 people, some of whom are living with dementia. The home has strong infection prevention and control measures in place. All staff members and visitors have their temperature checked upon arrival and are given appropriate personal protective equipment. Visitors complete lateral flow tests and health declarations, and hand sanitiser is available throughout the home. The environment is kept clean and tidy, with domestic and care staff undertaking additional cleaning throughout the day, including frequently touched surfaces such as door handles and handrails. The registered manager carries out weekly stock checks to ensure sufficient PPE supplies are available for staff, visitors and people living in the home. All staff have received training in infection prevention and control and in the proper use of PPE.
